DEVELOPMENT OF SEMICONDUCTOR HUMAN RESOURCES

By keeping abreast of semiconductor industry promotion policies in Vietnam, we provide consultations regarding the potential and feasibility aligned with project priorities. We develop and implement plans, connect with high-level partners and necessary resources to ensure efficiency in both time and cost for domestic and international enterprises.

The semiconductor industry is one of the most promising sectors, attracting foreign investors and driving rapid economic development with significant breakthroughs for the future. Consequently, this industry consistently demands high-skilled labor to meet the stringent requirements of both domestic and international markets. Numerous multinational electronics and telecommunications corporations such as Samsung, Fuji, Canon, Panasonic, and LG Display have established manufacturing and assembly bases in industrial zones and high-tech parks in Vietnam, underscoring the importance of local semiconductor talent. As a result, Vietnam is vigorously developing policies to train and nurture a core workforce to meet the demands of this market.

The surge in consumption of high-tech electronic devices is the primary driver behind the robust growth of domestic semiconductor factories. Leading semiconductor experts and engineers work tirelessly to research, design, and develop semiconductor chips and electronic circuits, contributing to the transformation of technological achievements into high-value commercial goods. Given the scarcity and shortage of high-quality semiconductor talent, NATRA is implementing various initiatives to help enhance the quality of the semiconductor workforce, addressing significant challenges faced by the industry such as technological changes, global market trends, and legal frameworks.

Several fields maximizing semiconductor technology include artificial intelligence, security, cybersecurity, telecommunications electronics, clean energy, virtual reality, and industrial manufacturing. From the school bench, educators focus on teaching the design of integrated circuits with artificial intelligence, providing the younger generation with a comprehensive overview of the industry from multiple perspectives, including policy, business, and intellectual property. Additionally, leveraging favorable advantages such as strategic location, stable political system, and abundant, cost-effective young labor, major players in the computer component and electronic circuit manufacturing industry consistently view Vietnam as a potential partner in the region. Despite some infrastructure and equipment shortages in a few training centers, with persistent efforts, a solid foundation, and a strong desire to forge ahead, Vietnam aims to train 50,000 high-quality engineers annually for the rapidly growing global semiconductor market.
Developing projects in the semiconductor field includes design, research and management of products and projects related to semiconductor technology.
Projects can range in scale from small to large, depending on customer requirements.
